On the top of the Volcano 4005 Heat Exchanger, there are total of 10 liquid loop channels for the water to flow through and cooling down the entire heatsink.

The Volcano 4005 Heat Exchanger is support the optional 8cm or 9cm fan to provide a better cooling performance to the CPU.

The longer side of the water tube is for water outlet while the shorter side that near the main body was for the water inlet.
