Conclusions

The Thermaltake Toughpower 550W PSU is a totally silent and powerful PSU. With the dual 12V rails of power at 38A of output, it will support many peripheral devices without any problems. Furthermore, this PSU is equip with silent 120mm cooling fan, it will be even better if the 120mm fan is a LED fan. The operation noise level was very silent as well. This PSU is ready with the SLI, Cross-Fire, and Dual Core CPU support. As for the cable management, this PSU is featuring the Intelligent cable management which is the power cable is sleeve with the black mesh sleeving that provide the optimum air flow inside the case. Overall, this was a good PSU for normal use and also overclocking.
