Power Cables

The Thermaltake Toughpower 550W PSU comes with a lot of power connectors with a nice black mesh sleeving and we will look into it now.

Main Power Connector

The main power connector for the Thermaltake Toughpower 550W PSU is the 24-Pin(20-Pin) main power connector and the normal 4-Pin +12V connector.

It also comes with Dual PCI-Express 6-pin connectors to support the dual high end PCI-E VGA cards which are known as the SLI (Scalable Link Interface) technology or the ATI CrossFire Technology. This is one of the best thing that I like in this PSU, both of the PCI-E cable is separate instead of both of them is in a single power cable. This is because not all the user is using the SLI setup. So, a separate PCI-E connector will be more practical.
