Introduction

The Thermaltake Purepower 520W Power Station Specialty power supply conforms perfectly to the Intel ATX 12V2.0 regulations and goes above and beyond it. With options of active PFC or none PFC, LED fan or unlit 120mm fan, and the additional honeycombed design, the new power supply raises the bar in the power supply market. The most interesting feature in the Purepower Power Station 520W series, besides the fact that it is modularized, is that it comes with a 5.25î power surge box. The power surge box provides 6 sets of standard 4pin Molex connectors, 2 sets of floppy drive power connectors, and 4 sets of SATA power connectors. Since the 5.25î power surge box can fit directly into the drive bay of the chassis, it makes cable management infinitely easier than before. In addition, a well organized case with cable management will dramatically improve the thermal performance of the case itself as well as other cooling components. On the face plate of the power surge box, there are LED displays showing the status of the +3.3V, +5V, and +12V. The Purepower 520W Power Station Specialty series is also sleeved in a stylish black sleeving for all the cables so that your system can look more elegant and professional than ever. The detachable 4pins header enables the user to work on their system without stressing as well. No matter whether you use an AMD or Intel motherboard, the 24(20)pin main connector will fit all kinds of motherboard out on the market today. The all new Purepower 520W Power Station Specialty is a true evolution of the power supplies.
