SilverStone SG01s Case Review - Page 2

Taking a closer look at the front of the case we can see the drive bays, power buttons etc and io front panel.

[nice clean case front]

We'll look closer at the fron of the case. The io panel consists of 4 x usb socker, 1 x firewire and 2 audio connectors (mice and speaker).

[nicely positioned]

The power and reset buttons are made of the same colour as the case, which makes them blend in nicely.

[nice layout]

The part of the front is the drive bays. There are two in total that are setback slightly fron the front of teh case. Which I feel makes it stand out that little bit fore. Around the drive bays is a clear plastic bezel, which gives a clean finish.

[clean drive bays]

The case cover is secured at the back with 4 normal scerws. On this case I would have probably expected some thumb screws. Along the sides of the case are ventilation holes, which we will look at later. On the top is a square of holes, presumably for ventalation.

[ventilation holes down both sides]

[top ventilation holes]

On the back of the case we can see the hole for the psu, below that is the IO shield plate location. To the right is a ventilation fan (50mm) which has a protective mesh over it. Below the fan are 3 io card slots.
