Conclusion

The PDP Patriot 1GB Dual Channel DDR400 memory module will meet the needs of most enthusiasts. These dual channel ram are able to run at tight timing which is the best and basic requirement for a good memory module. But, with a bit loosen timing, the RAM was able to hit 250Mhz which is equal to DDR500. That was an excellent results. According to the specification sheet, this pair of RAM is able to reach DDR533. But, we was unable to test it due to the limitation of onboard memory voltage. Furthermore, this pair of ram is using the Samsung TCCD memory chips which is able to run at tight timing and very overclockability. This PDP Patriot XBLK is really a good buy at the MSRP at $230 US. Highly Recommended !
