Page 2 of 5 Installation Well this part was alot easier than I thought. It was simply a matter of removing the old stock cooler, and placing the new cooler on the the existing bracket. Although I had to check the best way round for the cooler to go, as some of the motherboards components got in the way of the coolers heatpipes.  [components were just clear of heatsink] Once I had worked out the best way round, I clipped the cooler on the existing 478 bracket and clip the brackets into place, using the brightly colour screwdriver, that was supplied. Testing My method of testing is pretty straight forward, but gives pretty good results. I tested the stock cooler on idle and 100% usage for 30 minutes each, then did the same for the SHS-X500. Motherboard monitor was used to take the measurements, every 30 seconds.
