The motherboard tray is located infront for the expsansion slots - obviosuly! This tray is removable, which for a rackmountable case is essentail. Whilst this case is big, it's still fiddley try to fit your motherboard whith a support bracket in the way. Incidentally the support bracket is removeable, so this then give you and interpted view and access for replacing your motherboard tray.

At the front of the case are the drive bays. These consist of two 5 1/4 and 1 3 1/2 bays on both sides. This is alot of bays, but idea if you have hot swappable drives - easy access to replace drives is again essential. The drive bays are removeable for easy installation.

[multiple drive bays on each side]

The drive bays are mounted on foam pads that sit on the bottum of the case, and an ideal soultion to reduce some noise and reduce vibration when cd's spin up etc. Due to the small size of the cooling fans at the rear one of the drive bays would be idea place for putting a 80mm fan in.

In the centre between the drive bays are all the connector cables for the front panel. - which we move on to next.

The front panel on the outside has the led indicators, usb slot and the case lock in the centre, to either side are moveable doors, aloowing access to the drive bays. On the right hand side in the power and reset buttons. This is an idea location and you can lock the drive bay doors which will not allow anyone to turn off or reset the machine whilst in use - a nice secutiry feature.

The front drive bay doors have washable filters included, which would hopefull keep some of the dust out the case. Oon the sides of the case are the handles for carrying and inserting the case into the racks, these are pretty substantial after all there could be quite a bit of weight in the case once everthing is installed.
