A Close Look

The 2 X 2GBG.SKILL PC2 8800 memory modules that we reviewed comes with the premium tall aluminum heatspreader which is known as the "PI" series. PC8800 is equal with 1100MHz, which means the memory speed is able to run at 1100MHz at default. We will look into the performance of this memory later in the testing and performance section.

The other side of the memory, nothing much special. Just as usual as other memory. Besides, it was using a 8 later PCB board for this PC8800 memory module.

The specification label on the aluminum heatspreader, it stated the memory model number, the speed, the latency and size.

The heatspreader comes with a tall and unique design for the best heat dissipation and the air flow able to get through the heatspreader.
