Page 10 of 10 Conclusion The GigaByte GA-K8N Ultra-9 motherboard was featuring the new Nvidia nForce 4 Ultra chipset that delivers significant performance gains with variety of new generation architectures including dual-channel DDR, PCI-Express interface and Serial-ATA II interface for improving storage performance. The motherboard itself has a lot of built in features such as Dual Gigabit LAN, Dual Bios, RAID function, and 7.1 channel sound. In terms of performance, this motherboard did a great job as you can see on the performance benchmarking and testing section. Anyway, there is always some downside which is this motherboard does not comes with any cooling fan for the Northbridge. However, GigaByte GA-K8N Ultra-9 motherboard is still a very good motherboard for the AMD64 nForce 4 Ultra platform in terms of the performance and overclocking. The MSRP of this motherboard is at $140 USD only which is the quite expensive compare with other nForce4 Ultra chipset motherboard. Pros - Excellent performance
- Very overclockable
- Dual Bios
- Dual Gigabit LAN
- 8 X Serial ATA connector (4 X Serial ATA 3.0Gb/s)
- Good bundles
Cons - Max memory voltage only at 2.8V
- Without fan on the NB heatsink
- Pricey
