On the bottom part of the optical mouse, there is an On/Off switch for power saving. Due to the battery life that use for the wireless optical mouse is pretty short, so with this power button, you can simply switch off while didn't use it.

This wireless optical mouse is also using 2 X AA batteries to operate.

On the receiver of the BTC 6301URF low profile keyboard and optical mouse combo, there is a LED indicator for the connection indicating. It was also the button for the connecting as well.
